fun in the rain

We've had a lot of rain lately and when it's not raining, it is sooo hot, sooooooo we spend a lot of time inside.  Jace was napping one day, so we decided to go play on the big slip and slide the wrestling mat made on the patio.  Brenna had a great time splashing and sliding.  It was sprinkling on and off and she loved it.  She was a very wet and muddy little girl.  Bella was out there with us and  you better believe that little dog did not get one paw wet.  haha.

'Do you wanna build a snow man?'  Of course Frozen was brought into this.  She loves knocking on the door and saying Anna's lines.  She makes us say Elsa's line "Go away, Anna" so she can walk away and be sad, just like Anna. I bed she made me say it 5 times here.  Silly girl.

Jace-11 months

Jace has just went crazy this month!  He is walking and running all over the place.  He claps and waves, makes a clicking sound with his tongue.  He will repeat da-da and ba-ba (for mama).  He is talking all the time in baby babble and loves to 'roar' with Brenna or if he's excited.  He loves to get into Bella's food and the recycling bin.  More than once I've had to pull dog food out of his mouth.  yech!

He loves running after Brenna and Bella, which drives Brenna crazy most of the time.  He is always throwing things, books, food, whatever.  It drives me crazy!  We're trying to transition him to a sippy cup and have made some progress.  He climbs on everything.  The second he stands if there is a way to get higher, he goes for it.  No matter the risk.  He's had bruises all over his face this past month (luckily none showed up on the pictures), only 1 was from his sister...

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a really nice 4th of July.  No big cook out or anything, but we went to Fogo de Chao....The kids were (relatively) well behaved and we had a really nice time.  Unfortunately the kids bedtime is before the fireworks began so we were just crossing our fingers that the noise wouldn't wake the kids.  So far so good..... but it's only 9:45.  Anyway, here are some pics of the kiddos.  :)
